Director, CWT Solutions Group APAC

My name is Elis Kodra and I joined the organization as a senior consultant within CWT Solutions Group (the consulting arm of CWT). Having spent nearly 10 years in the hotel industry and wanting to remain in the travel industry, it was a logical and challenging career progression to join CWT. In my initial role, I was responsible for managing the Hotel RFP and Spend Optimization for some of the biggest global corporations, in industries such as Oil & Gas, Banking, Finance & Telecommunications.

I was subsequently promoted to manager of Solutions Group UK (based in London), where I had the opportunity to work with and lead a team of 7 talented individuals. As part of CWT's global mobility, I later had the opportunity to apply for the role of director of CWT Solutions Group APAC. Since March 2019, I have led a team of 10 consultants, data analysts and outsourced travel managers.

I'm driven by leading the team and being responsible for their learning, their successes and their career progression - it's what gets me up in the morning!

In my earlier career, I was a professional football player for Watford FC and as with any team sport, I see our regional organization as one team. We learn together and win together to achieve one common goal. We grow our business by leveraging each other's strengths and recognizing exceptional individual performances that we can all learn from.
