Do I need to speak English fluently to work at CWT?
Yes. English is the language we use to conduct business around the world, though you may also need to be fluent in the local language(s) of the country or countries in which you work. Our teams are international and multicultural so it’s essential to be multilingual at CWT.

Does CWT hire students, interns, VIE and new graduates?
Yes, we offer employment programs for students and graduates in many locations.

Can I apply for more than one job at the same time?

Yes. We encourage you to explore our many opportunities to find those that are the best fit with your qualifications. If you need some help deciding which jobs match your background and interests, go to the Find Your Job section.

What does a Job Cart do? 

Job Cart stores positions you select, so you can see them all in one location. You can submit your resume for up to five positions per day using Job Cart, and save the contents of your cart to review later. You don’t need to sign in to put jobs in your cart, but if you haven’t signed in, the information you’ve viewed in a session won’t be saved after you leave the site.

  • What are the best ways to make my resume stand out?
  • Make sure your resume is completely up-to-date, including your contact information.
  • Be honest. Paint the best possible picture of yourself, but don’t exaggerate.
  • Proofread for typos and errors – more than once!
  • Describe your specific qualifications for the job and key expertise
  • Convey, if appropriate, how your specific qualifications and key expertise might be applied in new or different ways or for a different type of job than you’ve had in the past.
  • Highlight your accomplishments in previous jobs, not just your duties or responsibilities.
  • Everyone has job duties; it’s how you approached them and what you accomplished in carrying them out that makes you stand out.

Applications & Interviews

What’s the best way to submit my application?
We only receive online applications through our career website. 

If you build your application through our online system, the information you provide will be retained and you can update it at any time. 

Will my application be treated confidentially?
Yes. Initially, one of our human resources recruiters and the hiring manager for the position will confidentially review your application. If they agree that you should progress to an interview, they will share your application with other CWT stakeholders. 

How will I be assessed for a job at CWT?
We’ll carefully assess your application, resume/CV, and experience related to the job for which you’re applying. We’ll also consider you for other openings that might match your background and expertise. 

If you’re being considered for a job, a recruiter will contact you for a competency-based and cultural fit interview. Your motivations for seeking the role and for wanting to work with CWT are also key for us.

Does CWT check professional references?
Yes, with your consent we carry out professional references and educational qualification checks at the selection stage in the recruitment process. You will be asked to provide us with up to 3 professional references.

Does CWT do background check?
We complete a background check in accordance with the relevant local legal constraints and requirements.
