CWT around the world
In Canada, we have 4 main areas of business
Our CWT Concierge personal travel advisors, each of whom are destination experts in one or more of 110 countries, have resources at their fingertips and are able to offer access to amenities and experiences that delight our customers. To help achieve our company goals we ensure that CWT Canada is a company that people want to work for. To manage this, we use a variety of employee programs to meet the health, benefits, professional development, recognition, and communication needs of our employees.
Our executive team members travel cross-country hosting road shows for all employees to participate in, where they answer questions and share business plans and updates.
Work-life balance is important to us so we offer flexible work options, telecommuter options, optional week off and summer off programs which are designed to help you achieve your personal needs.
"We are very proud of our Human Rights campaign which has successfully brought us to be named one of the "Best Places to Work for GLBT Equality"
We also have CWT Yammer, our internal social media tool, and CWT Online, our internal website platform for employees to share knowledge and communicate with team members across the world. We hold annual employee engagement surveys to help ensure we’re continually improving and keeping our employees engaged.
We also hold annual conferences for our leisure line of business, and publish multiple employee newsletters to ensure you’re getting all the information you need to succeed in your role and know where we’re heading.
We offer fabulous employee programs to meet the recognition and professional development needs of our employees.

Bravo nominations are a formal way to acknowledge employees’ accomplishments and efforts. Using Bravos, any employee can send kudos to their peers, fellow employees, or direct reports, to thank someone for a job well done or recognize an outstanding effort.
Employees receive awards at 5, 10, 15, 20, or 25+ years of service milestones.
We encourage employees to contribute ideas that can save on costs or improve customer service, processes, productivity and employee morale. The Great Ideas submission contest awards prizes for suggestions that support CWT's strategy and priorities by reducing costs, increasing productivity, improving a work environment, etc.
Our comprehensive benefits program for employees in Canada is called CWT Flex. Some areas covered by CWT Flex include Life, accident and disability insurance and various medical insurance. CWT Flex also includes a retirement savings program, which can be used by all permanent, full-time staff.
CWT Canada offers an EAP (Employee Assistance Program), which provides completely confidential support and counseling for employees facing urgent issues or crisis situations, as well as support to help manage everyday issues before they become major concerns. The EAP is run by Ceridian Corporation’s LifeWorks Services division and is called Life Balance.
Family and friends will receive savings with our preferred leisure suppliers for all packages, cruises, tours, charter air, and customized travel packages.
IATA Discounts - Any employee of CWT who has been employed continuously in the travel industry for at least six months, working a minimum of 20 hours per week, may apply for an IATA Travel Agent ID card. We participate in various charity events, guided by our charity committee and social committees across the country, which runs activities like such as local Food Drives, Toy Drives, and Holiday Wish Family Sponsorship (donating presents to a family in need for during Christmas).
We also have a “Together We Can” annual charity campaign where employees nominate charities that they would like CWT Canada to donate to. All employees vote, and the top 6 charities receive a $1000 donation care of CWT Canada.
A recent team-building event involved making bicycles for underprivileged children.
Every December, CWT runs a 10-day event to boost our employees’ personal and professional wellbeing and community involvement. The event is for CWT employees in both Canada and the USA. Our Employees participate in activities that promote the 5 “heart” principles:
