Purpose of Site - Candidate data that we store
CWT uses an end-to-end recruitment platform known as "Recruitment Management System" ("the Site") to manage and support the global recruitment process from the approval of the job requisition to the hiring of the selected candidate. Once you apply online, we will acknowledge receipt of your application, which will be handled confidentially by our recruitment departments. Our recruitment teams are based in every country where CWT has owned operations and they can all use the Site to access applications made from any other CWT country.
In submitting your application on this Site, you will be asked to provide certain data which are of a personal nature (“personal data”). The references to "personal data" include all information which may directly or indirectly allow the identification of an individual and specifically it refers to the data that a candidate provides to CWT in his/her online application.
In the recruitment process, CWT collects these personal data. This Information Note is addressed to you as a user of the Site and describes the data protection/privacy measures of CWT. All mandatory questions will be clearly marked as such and failure by you to provide the requested data will mean that you will not be able to apply online.
When you apply online, you will need to agree with the terms & conditions set out in this Information Note. if you refuse to accept these terms & conditions, you will unfortunately not be able to apply. No information will be store if mandatory fields are not completed and/or if these terms & conditions are not accepted.
What we do with the personal data - CWT right to use
CWT processes personal data received from candidates applying for employment within the CWT Group of companies solely for the purposes of managing the application, recruitment, selection and hiring process.
By submitting personal data, you grant CWT and the companies of the CWT Group the right to use personal data for recruitment, selection and hiring purposes. CWT may use your personal data to contact you during the application/recruitment process. To comply with local labor laws, we may need to collect certain categories of personal data.
The personal data collected on this Site will be stored for the duration necessary for the recruitment for a specific position (see Retention below).
Viewing, editing, updating or deleting candidate data
User access to the Site is protected by a personal log-in and password.
As a user, you have the right to view the personal data you submit to CWT as part of the online application process and to make changes by editing, deleting or appending your information on this site. To delete your file in the Site, please contact us.
CWT takes reasonable steps to ensure that the information you provide to us is maintained in an accurate and complete fashion.
Application of the Recruitment Management System
Access by CWT companies in other countries: the position being recruited may be for a role at a country, regional and/or global basis and the application file with its personal data may be accessed and processed by CWT employees located in one or several countries other than the country where the position is located.
Hosting of Personal Data: the database is powered by a third party, PeopleFluent, and is hosted in its datacenter in the UK.
Security: Pursuant to the various data protection/privacy laws, CWT has implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the personal data held by CWT against accidental or unlawful disclosure or destruction. CWT cannot guarantee security or confidentiality against all hackers, other attacks, or other security failures. CWT will not disclose your information to any third party without your written consent. PeopleFluent uses a variety of methods, such as firewalls, intrusion detection software and manual security procedures to secure the employee data against loss or damage and to help protect the accuracy and security of the personal data and to prevent unauthorized access or improper use.
Retention & Destruction: we will keep your resume on file for a 12-month period from the last time you updated it so that we can contact you if a future opportunity arises that matches your experience and profile. CWT shall destroy the data following such period as, under many data protection laws, personal data must be destroyed after a certain period of time.
Confidentiality and data protection/privacy laws
CWT has always had internal confidentiality standards. The personal data is treated as confidential data and the candidate should also treat the data as confidential. Please do not forward or disclose any of the CWT application data stored in your file in the Recruitment Management System to anyone. Please do not forward or disclose your log-in and password to any other person. You will be held responsible for any misuse of the Site carried out under your log-in and password data if such misuse is due to your own negligence.
By collecting personal data, CWT is subject to data protection/privacy laws and meets the requirements of these data protection/privacy laws.

Information posted by Candidates on the Site
Candidates using this Site are prohibited from posting or transmitting any threatening, obscene, libelous, unlawful or otherwise offensive material. No information may be submitted by persons under the age of 18 without the consent of a parent or legal guardian. Users must avoid posting or transmitting sensitive personal data relating to, namely, their racial or ethical origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, trade union membership, state of health or sexual preferences except when a mandatory question on such matters is required in accordance with the applicable legislation of the recruiting country.
